Back from a long summer vacation, George and Tommy visit the Capitol City Hamfest and run into an old friend.

Peter shows us how to create a warm spot.

As many of you know by now I like to play with wifi, particularly over longer distances. This segment is a proof of concept idea I had about making a portable device that is not connected to the internet but nonetheless capable of delivering a web page to a nearby wireless connected device. It struck me that such a device might find a use at festivals or for when people are selling their home. People can stop at the billboard outside the house, login and get pictures of what the house looks like inside.

With the release of the Raspberry Pi there is scope to use the Pi to perform a similar function. I might try this at some future date.
